My Dear Spouse, Mark, has informed me that it was his original comment regarding the importance of gay and lesbian, transgendered and bisexual persons being unable to marry and therefore being bereft of the ability to easily leave traceable documentation of their existence as a family which led me to contemplate the paragraph on 'Our Gay Tradition' (below). So, here it is, the attribution. I also must endeavor to relay to my dear husband that it was indeed his comment BUT in concert with having recently found the site Androphile.org which actually gave me enough pause to make the decision to WRITE it down!
